Answer:	If you put it on the ground make sure you lay it on a towel because it may puncture it. I laid mine on our pool deck to lay out in the sun and I got a small hole in it. It comes with clear patches so I had to use one to repair the hole. The raft is very comfortable but it has open holes in it where the water comes up through when you lay in the water. The material is much cooler than plastic so it does not get hot like a plastic raft would.

Answer:	Hmm mine isn’t removable. It needs the cardboard for support to the bottom of the bag, at least in my case.

Answer:	Yes, the bottom of this bag is really sturdy. I've been using mine for probably 6 months as my main purse. I just looked at my bag and the bottom isn't warn much at all despite the fact that I often plop it down on the floor. My complaint is the structure of the top of the bag is such that the top caves in, folding over to the spot where fabric handles attach (below the edge like a couple inches) so it kind of impedes access to the interior side pockets. I have considered sewing the handles to the top of the bag so the zipper top is forced to stay up and not flop inward. It could have been a better design, in fact I didn't even realize there was a pocket in the very top edge because of the way the top of the tote flops. The rest of the bag is really well made. I wanted a bag I could use for the ton of junk I have to drag around taking care of family as a caregiver. Some people may not like the lack of structure- it occurs to me it could have some built in boning to keep it's shape- up the sides and along the top. But it's not that kind of bag, it's a soft tote and very pretty.
