  2. Design: The two-tone design is often incorporated into the watch's bracelet or band, with links or segments alternating between stainless steel and the other metal. This design element can also extend to the watch case, with the bezel or other components featuring a two-tone finish.

  3. Styles: Seiko offers a wide range of 2-tone watches with various styles and designs. Some may have a more classic and traditional look, while others can be sportier or contemporary in their aesthetics.

  4. Dial: The dial of Seiko 2-tone watches can come in various colors and designs to complement the two-tone bracelet and case. It's common to see contrasting elements on the dial, such as gold-tone hour markers or hands against a silver or white background.

  5. Functionality: Seiko watches are known for their reliability and precision. Depending on the specific model, these watches can offer various features such as date displays, chronograph functions, or even automatic movements.

  6. Water Resistance: Some Seiko 2-tone watches are designed with water resistance, making them suitable for everyday wear, including activities like swimming and snorkeling. The level of water resistance can vary by model.

  7. Price Range: Seiko offers a range of 2-tone watches to suit different budgets. While some models may be more affordable, others in their collection can be considered luxury timepieces.

User questions & answers

Question: How long the battery charge last
Answer: Watch
Question: Does the watch keep track of long/short months or do you have to reset the date every other month
Answer: Yes, the model number is SNE044
Question: What is the diameter of it's band?is it sutable for 100 kg weight man?not very obese
Answer: The best way is to purchase a link removal tool from Amazon. It comes with easy to follow instructions. I had to take 4 links out of mine, and with the tool it was super easy to do. I think without the tool you would need to take it to a jeweler. I think I paid $6 for the link removal tool. It comes in handy for other jewellery also.
Question: how long is the band
Answer: No the face is not backlit, but the minute and hour hands and the hour markers have a lumibrite finish that "glow" in the dark.

User questions & answers

Question: Is this a solar watch? battery required
Answer: The watch is made in Japan.
Question: Is the dial face black or blue
Answer: The gold tone is plated onto the stainless steel. With my previous Seiko watch, which I had for over ten years, the plating looked like it was new even after I cleaned my watchband several times with a toothbrush--you can't beat a Seiko watch for accuracy and looks!!!
Question: What is "hardlex"? (Acrylic, mineral, or sapphire
Answer: Yes. As the second hand approaches 12, pull out the watch stem to stop the second hand precisely at 12. Go to www.time.gov for official Naval Observatory time. Set the hour hand, then set the minute hand one minute ahead of the time shown. When the Naval Observatory time approaches 59 seconds, snap the watch stem shut. This will start the watch precisely at the right second, so it will be accurate within 1 second of time. The accuracy of this method is only limited by your reaction time in starting the watch.

User questions & answers

Question: How long does the charge last? Other solars last 6 months
Answer: It states that the watch dial is black.
Question: Is there a way to reset the date or do I have to let the watch run out its charge
Answer: I have a Seiko "automatic" (self-winding) watch I bought a number of yrs. ago, with a Hardlex crystal. It has several scratches, even though I only wore it for a year or two before it wouldn't keep time (sometimes lost several mins./hour.) I don't know if I got a lemon, or if Seiko's self-winding watches just can't keep time, which is obviously a significant problem. The Hardlex crystal not being scratch resistant is a smaller problem, but still unacceptable. VERY disappointed in this $100+ watch. However, my $45 battery-powered Casio is the BEST WATCH EVER! Keeps perfect time and the crystal is perfect, despite having been worn 24/7 for 15 yrs.
Question: I have a large wrist 8". Will this watch fit or can you add links to the band
Answer: The days of the week alternate, so u get Monday in French and then English; Tuesday, same. So you just need to move button till u find the English language day of the week
Question: What are the dimensions of this item
Answer: The top dial has several functions. In normal mode, the right side of the dial indicates day of the week. The bottom section of the dial is used for setting the alarm, the day, and date. In stopwatch mode, the left section of the dial indicates the power reserve level. A detailed, easy to follow manual is included.

User questions & answers

Question: Does the face light up
Answer: No, I have not used the warranty. However, my watch stopped, and I had a new battery put in, and it works fine. I think the battery that came with it was old. Try a new battery.
Question: What is the real band width? Listing says 2.3 mm
Answer: This is not a stretch band. The band is links, these links can be removed, by any store that sells link watch bands, if it is two large. I make sure I get the links back when I have them removed.
Question: Right out of the box doesnt work, what should I do
Answer: No. I did not keep this watch, but it is not solar powered.
Question: How to determine if this is an authentic Seiko watch
Answer: No battery required. It is a solar watch. I just got it for Christmas and so far it's running great. I like the dark background and the style of the watch. I've always liked the Seiko brand. My husband has a solar watch and loves it. Hope this helps.

Question: Is this an authentic Seiko watch? Seiko website doesn't show this model number
Answer: Yes the links are removable. I love the watch but had to send the first one back as the beautiful band kept coming unlatched. I took the second one to my jeweler to fix the clasp.
Question: What is the power source for this watch? Is it solar
Answer: Princeton Watches is an authorized retailer. Our watches come directly from the manufacturer and are covered by their warranty. When you order from us you will receive all original packaging and paperwork including in this case a Seiko 3 year warranty.
Question: Does the date/day adjust to leap years automatically
Answer: The solar movement is powered by any light source. Once the battery is fully charged, this model will have a 10 month power reserve. If you left it in a drawer for an extended period of time, it would still be working up to 10 months later. Once the watch is exposed to a light source, the battery will recharge. The solar battery never needs to be replaced.
Question: What is the origin of this watch
    Answer: No you can't.

    User questions & answers

Question: Does this timepiece needs battery or not
Answer: I love my SUP274 Seiko watch. I'm not sure whether the szzc42 is the non-solar powered version. Like the other respondent, I have owned this same style for years, but when I lost my last one, I ordered the 274. I much prefer the clasp on this version. I find it more stable and comfortable. And I love the solar battery that I don't have to worry about regularly replacing.
