Answer:	Since I removed the brass elbow that came with this before noting which end it came from, the previous answer here didn't help me. I can say I put the ferrule (tapered-looking washer) end to the brass elbow and the flat-looking rubber washer end to the plastic valve attachment at my wall supply and everything sealed up nicely. No leaks. I did snug plus 1 turn maybe. Less than that didn't feel too tight.

Please note though that when your blood perfusion level is low or when your hands are cold, the device may need more time to optimize and register an accurate reading. In this instance, we suggest that you warm your hands and fingers before taking the measurements. You can do this simply by rubbing your hands together. Remember your pulse oximeter is measuring your SpO2 and PR based on your blood flow. If the blood flow in your finger drops below a certain level, the pulse oximeter will not be able to function. Answer:	Yes I have and the heart rate is very close. I have several of these and COPD and this ones heart rate at least the one that I have is very good. On the cell phone app which is called Oximeter the oxygen sensor is way off like 5 points high which is critical and I was told that the cell phone oximeter was more designed for sports than for actual health problems! as an example a five point spread could cause major organ damage do to low oxygen!
