If you would like to use a NATO type strap,get a thin one. Standard spring bars,that come with the watch,are 1.8mm thick. Getting a pair that's 1.6mm thick will make using a NATO strap easier,you can find these easily on Amazon

Answer:	Yes, it is absolutely vegan. So much so that when I tried to feed it anything I ate, it refused to eat at all and nearly starved to death. I relented and am now feeding it its preferred snotty diet, so it works perfectly. But here's the problem: feeding this thing its vegan diet costs me more per month than the watch did in the first place. Even so, it is friendly, conversational, and absolutely loyal, which is more than I can say for any of my family members or friends. Automatic watches do not operate on batteries. Automatic watches are made up of about 130 or more parts that work together to tell time. The gear train then transmits the power to the escapement, which distributes the impulses, turning the balance wheel. Also referred to as self-winding, watches with automatic movements utilize kinetic energy, the swinging of your arm, to provide energy to an oscillating rotor to keep the watch ticking. Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Answer:	Search "Invicta Link Removal" on You Tube. There are many videos, some are better than others. Pay attention to the direction of the arrows on the bracelet links.

Answer:	They are pretty much the same watch and both have an Automatic Seiko movement (NH35A). The only difference I have found is the 8926OB face is more similar to the Rolex Submariner, with tabs instead of dots at the 3, 6 and 9 positions. Also, the loupe over the date window is slightly more powerful on the 8926OB, making it easier to read the date. I have both watches and prefer the 8926OB!
Question:	Can enough links be removed to accommodate a 6.5" (approx.) wrist
Answer:	Yes. I have a 6.25" wrist, and had to remove all but one link. So for a 6.5" wrist, removing all but 2 should be fine. The respondent above who said the links are graduated in size is mistaken. All the _removable_ links are the same size.

Answer:	The 8926OB has straight indicese at 6 and 9 while the 17044 has round ones. The band width on the 8926 is 20mm while 18mm on the 17044. The case thickness on the 8926 is 11mm while 14mm on the 17044.17044 is a newer model (jan 2014) and the 8926OB is 2006 (with a new version in 2011). Also, the 17044 lists a "stopwatch" as a special feature.

Answer:	This is the standard way of notating water resistance. Its saying the watch can withstand the pressure equivalent of 30M of water - perfectly still water and a perfectly still watch. Move the watch about and it increases the pressure drastically. You want 10ATM, (100M) water resistance, minimum, to go swimming in it and be confident nothing will happen to it. At 30M it might be fine, it might not.

Answer:	Here's a modification to make the watch less noisy. 1) Purchase an ordinary watch repair kit; that can run as little as $12, $14. 2) Clear a counter in the kitchen. 3) Disinfect the area where the work will be done. It must be sparkly clean. 4) Have some alcohol on hand. Now, with those preparations out of the way, put the watch face-up on the counter. Grab a hammer and beat the sumbich until it's about the thickness of a quarter. That should fix the problem. Take a shot or two of the alcohol. Order a new watch.

Answer:	The lug width is 18mm -- if you get a two-piece nylon watch strap e.g. not a NATO strap it will last longer than the stock rubber strap.

Answer:	I think a previous commenter may be on to something. I've worn this model for decades, and generally each watch has lasted at least half a dozen years. I've worn them swimming in the pool and in the ocean, and diving down to 20 m. Once or twice before, a watch I'd had for many years got some water inside after a prolonged period in the water. My latest F91-W got water inside and portions of the display failed the first time I had it submerged (an hour and a half in a hot tub, underwater more about half the time). So maybe Casio changed something about the materials or manufacturing process that makes it more susceptible to water. Still, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for exposure like kayaking, pouring rain, taking a swim, etc. In any case it's an incredible watch -- super light, very long battery life, useful functions, unobtrusive and unpretentious -- and a new one is just a day or two and a dozen dollars away if you choose to use it in submersion settings and it fails. (I wouldn't press the buttons while it's submerged, though: that's asking for trouble.)

Answer:	Even the counterfeit versions of this are almost $10. Department stores sell Crappy Chinese quartz watches made of pot metal, with designers logos on them, for $200+. Go complain there instead.
