Answer:	Yes, you clamp the buckle on the opposite side of the locking mechanism so it could theoretically be cut very short, like maybe 12 inches at shortest, there are just no lines to show you where to cut shorter than 28 inches, but a measuring tape could easily fix that.

Answer:	This belt is designed well. A light pull on the spring-loaded latch, and the belt slides right out. I have had zero issues with it. You can even adjust the belt while sitting down. There is no slippage either.

Answer:	You take off the buckle and cut the belt to the length you need. There are lines marked with each measurement on the inside of the belt. Once trimmed, out the buckle back on and then check to see if the rachets are in range. If not, repeat and trim more. We did a little at a time until my son was able to synch it up to the tightness he wanted.

Answer:	Place your smartwatch directly on the wireless charger. The magnetic charger has two pins that align with circular grooves in the caseback. Make sure your watch is charging by looking for a lightning bolt at the top of the watch face, or by swiping down to see a lightning bolt next to your battery percentage.

Answer:	It is swim proof. It's water resistant up to 30M and passes a 10K stroke test.

Question:	Has the battery life gotten any better over the last few months
Answer:	I personally use the Watchmaker app for my own watch face. I keep the background mostly black as that uses less battery with an AMOLED screen. With that, and heart rate tracking every 20 minutes roughly, I average about 15-45% left at the end of the day. It will be less with ambient brightness on if you're outside in the sun. I was golfing the other day starting at 7am and was at 15% by noon. But that is not an average day for me. I can't speak for improvement over time though as I just got this for Father's Day.

Question:	Will there be a dark brown leather strap with the black dial face (as seen in some video reviews) be available
Answer:	The one in those videos is the brown one actually. It doesn't look anything like the pictures, which are probably renders. The "brown" watchface is actually the same as the black one, the difference is that they use a brown crystal to tint it (store employee said Fossil does this for most of their brown watches). So, the white parts will look sepia, but the black background stays black (since it's not 100% black but rather very dark gray, it has a subtle brownish tint if you look at it in the right conditions, but most of the time it just looks black).
Question:	Does it have a vibrating alarm clock, that works without a phone
Answer:	I see the Manufacturer answered "yes" to this. But, as far as I know, you need to have a phone to set the alarm (or alarms). Once an alarm is set, the alarm(s) that have been set will work without the phone being connected to the watch. I have not seen a way to set or modify alarms in the watch interface itself.
Question:	Will it receive text notifications if my texting app is Textra on Android
Answer:	All notifications from your phone will be pushed to the Hybrid watch as long as you have the notifications turned on in your phone settings and watch settings.

Answer:	This smartwatch is not compatible with Apple Music. You can pair Bluetooth headphones to your watch, but you will be unable to download songs from Apple Music for offline play since there is not a supported Apple Music app in the Play Store. You will, however, have access to music controls like Play/Pause and Skip from your wrist.
Question:	Can I play music locally on this watch (not control music on my phone)? Does it have a Pandora app
Answer:	You are not able to play music directly on the Fossil Explorist HR Smartwatch, as it does not have a speaker. There are various music Apps that the control feature will work with, including Spotify, Pandora, Soundcloud, Google Play, iTunes and Apple Music.
