The dryer messed up the leather stitching which I replaced with twine but I don't think it would have been a problem at all if I had air-dried them. On my second pair I just washed them in the tub with shampoo and let them dry and it works well.

Answer:	If you are looking for a hiking boot that provides a lot of ventilation then I would recommend the Men's MOAB 2 Ventilator. I decided that waterproof was more important and the MOAB 2 Waterproof promotes MSELECT DRY, which keeps the water out and lets moisture escape. From my personal experience the shoes are very comfortable and are waterproof, but you can expect that your feet will sweat; however it is not any more than when I am wearing canvas tennis shoes in summer. Overall I am really pleased with the MOAB 2 Waterproof.

Answer:	No they do not run narrow in the toe box. They are roomy compared to running shoes. I wear a medium width. I suggest you get a wife in this one also
