| Answer: | Yup!!! The 990v4 is not discontinued in all ages and the new 990v5 is out. This transition happened in April 2019 through June. The new version is AMAZING but built on the same last as before. Overall there really shouldn't be much of a change in the ride with the main updates happening to the upper. The plastic shank on the bottom changed just a touch but I've sold thousands this year and very, very few people said they noticed a difference. I’d say as far as fit between the V4 and V5 that they are very very much alike - although my V5’s are just two weeks old and my V4’s hit the dustbin with next to no tread left. I have been wearing 990’s since V1 and love ‘me. |
