Question:	what is the actual dimesions of this radio
Answer:	You don't 'sync' this product. You convert your playlist into a .m3u file and then drag and drop the .m3u and the audio you want added to the device. http://static.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/103755.pdf If you begin on page 14 of the manual it explains it in detail. The worst part of this is that you need to have the files you want in the same folder, and moving them can be tedious if you have a large audio library. If you do some searching, there are programs that will help you do this much faster.So I wouldn't say that it "doesn't sync" so much as you have to "manually sync" by dragging and dropping.
Question:	looking around for cb and ust wondering if this will pick up high band and low band the radio i have has a switch for high and low
Answer:	I'm not sure, but I can describe the setup. There are two main navigation buttons - the main center button and the back button, which are also the only ones that are raised. The screen that shows the category (music, radio, settings, books, sport) also shows a navigation arrow on either side to indicate that you can hit the right and left arrows to move through the categories. The back button switches between the active screen and the category screen. Within a category, you can only navigate with the up and down arrows to choose a subcategory (artists, albums, songs) or an actual song/file to play, and you choose that by hitting the main central button. There are no onscreen indicators that you should move up and down, and if you go side to side instead you don't necessarily end up back right where you started. The central button is also the on/off switch if you hold it down for a few seconds. Worst case, randomly hitting the two main buttons generally eventually takes you wherever you want to go.So yes, it's fairly simple because there aren't a lot of choices, which means that if you get totally lost, you can just keep hitting the same couple of buttons and can eventually move around. But it can also be a little frustrating if you get caught in a category-song screen loop (if you keep hitting the same button over and over), or if you navigate right-left when you should be going up-down and end up in a different screen. The other "catch" is that the back button also functions as a lock if you hold it down a few seconds. Then a padlock appears on the screen, and then navigation is impossible (it's there to keep the song from stopping or switching if you accidentally bump the unit against anything, which is easy to do because it's a sensitive button). To unlock, you have to hit the back button, then hold it again for a few seconds. It tells you how to do so on screen ("press and hold back to unlock"), but I find it always takes me a couple of attempts to get the unlock to "take" and actually unlock it. Another issue is physical ease of use. The entire unit is SMALL. The entire unit is 2 1/4 inches tall, and the screen is 1 inch square. I can cover the entire navigation area with my thumb. So if dexterity or arthritis is an issue, the person might be better off with a larger player like the Fuze+. However, it does have the two raised buttons and the other arrows are arranged around it, so you can control it by feel more easily than on something like a full touchscreen or the Fuze+ (that is all a solid smooth surface). The text onscreen is sans serif and a thin weight, which makes it easier to read, but the size is about the same as the small text on a nutrition label on a loaf of bread, and can't be enlarged. The other issue is loading music onto it. In one sense, it's very easy. You plug it into your computer, open the folder, and click and drag music you want over to its folder. However, you can NOT make playlists. The only way to do playlists is complicated and involves reorganizing your music on your actual computer, converting it to a different format in WMP, and then loading it in, and I have never had that work right. An ipod is much easier from that aspect, since you plug it in and it automatically updates/refreshes/syncs anything you have. Podcasts take me about 15 minutes to update every week, because I have to update them in MediaMonkey, then manually transfer each new episode to the Sansa, then find them because they're mixed in with songs. If listening to podcasts is a priority, or having playlists is a priority, I would NOT get this player. But if you just want to listen to music, and want to listen to it per album, it is fine and easy to use that way.

Answer:	I have not tried it but 32GB should not be an issue since it was already accepted in the clip zip. Unless their firmware really cockup. Better to read the reviews if anyone is complaining about this.

Answer:	The amount of memory you can add is not the most relevant answer, it would seem. After purchasing I have discovered that the device is limited to reading 2000 files on the SD card. Figuring an average of 5 Mb / song, 10 Gb is about the most I can actually utilize, unfortunately. If I had known this before buying I would have purchased a different device.

Answer:	It is possible that a Popsocket would stick to the case, it seems to be somewhat like a rubber type of case so that could be a concern. Sorry don't have definitive answer but the cost to find out is not too much.. :-)

Answer:	Measuring using internal SWR and external SWR, both measurements are equivalent to almost identical. But the internal SWR meter has a feature where it produces continuous sound when the measurement is 1.0/1.0, and it produces discontinuous beeps when measurement is not 1.0/1.0. This is an excellent feature from President, it does not require to read the display when tuning the antenna length for SWR. No, an external SWR is not needed, should not waste money for one

Question:	What is the best antenna for this radio
Answer:	Antenna should be chosen for the vehicle (primarily), not the radio. Many factors to consider, but most importantly - where will you be mounting the antenna? As a rule of thumb, the highest, most centrally located point of the vehicle (like the roof) is the optimum location for an antenna. If you are unable to mount the antenna on the roof, then it is important to try to get as much of the antenna as possible above the roofline (ideally 2/3rd's of the antenna should be above the vehicle). If you are mounting the antenna on a lower portion of the body, bumper, truck bed, etc, then a top loaded antenna (Like the FireStik II series) will offer the best performance. If you are able to mount the antenna on the roof then I would suggest a quality base-loaded antenna such as the wilson 5000/1000/500/Little Wil' (in that order). The 102" steel whip will offer the best performance, but it can be rather impractical for most people due to it's length. For best performance, regardless of the type of antenna, always choose the longest practical antenna that you can get away with on your vehicle. The shorter the antenna, the more of a compromise of performance vs convenience it becomes.

Question:	What kind of antenna would be best with this raido 11m and 10m for a mobil platform like a truck
Answer:	If this radio has been modified for 11 meters, then for that band any vertical CB antenna should work just fine. On the 10 meter Amateur band, normally a horizontal antenna would be best, but since you specified Mobile use that pretty much limits you to a vertical there as well. It will be hard to find one antenna that will be broad banded enough to work for both of those frequency ranges. If you are a licensed Ham operator, I would probably get a 10 meter 'Ham Stick' type antenna for use on 10. You could get a coax switch and switch between the two antennas, or if limited to one, you may have to re-adjust it as you change frequencies. Another option is some type of mobile antenna tuner.
Question:	if the radio can be programmed manually how do you transfer frequency from vfo to channel
Answer:	By pushing the mod button. You will need to manually set each channel frequency for each channel which is a pain but easy. Start with CH 1 and switch back to the 6-digit screen and set the specific frequency and switch back and then to CH 2 and do the same. For instance Channel 17 on a CB is frequency 27.165

Answer:	If your parents have amateur radio linceses then it could work. This radio requires a license.

Answer:	It is a 10M HAM radio. Modifying it for CB use is illegal. It is not illegal everywhere in the world so these manufacturers make these radios to be very versatile for their markets. Answer:	I assume you mean transmitting range. So, actually, the "range" on any given CB radio is the same as on any other. To explain: All CB radios by FCC rules can transmit no more than 4 watts. One can rig the 'pots' in the radio to get one or two more watts out of it, but that's it. Therefore, by far the most important factor with your CB radio is the antenna. Get a GOOD antenna and get it as high up as you can - 12'-24' feet for a base, and whatever is feasible for your vehicle, making sure that your SWR is good. Hence, this Midland 5001Z is a solid radio that will have excellent range within the limits of 4-5 watts of power. Again, a good antenna is essential!! All that said, to get more transmitting wattage, one can attach an amplifier to the CB radio and pump out a LOT of watts, but that is illegal per the FCC. Answer:	Hi, this radio has two power levels, and they are not “continuous” adjustable form zero to max. Low power is roughly 10watts and hi power is around 20/25watts. Personally I use it at low power all the time, as it is sufficient for my use pattern, and as the hi power is not recommended because of heat generated. Very good radio, by the way. Plenty of receive audio, and good quality transmit audio (not “muffled” like some other Chinese mobiles).

Answer:	how is it connected to the hot wire??u need to connect direct to the battery, that way u turn on with the on/off knob---also do not start car with radio on!! it mite have a power surge and damage the radio.

Answer:	In theory, no. But if your local police and EMS are using analog conventional radios that are transmitting in the 136-174MHz / 400 - 480MHz band, then maybe. But if that’s what your buying this for, just get a scanner instead.
