Answer:	Tests have shown that gaiters provide significantly less protection, probably because you're only using a single layer of fabric. While nothing beats an N95 (which should go to healthcare workers while in short supply), cloth masks made with 3 layers are the best breathable, readily available protection. However, two layers provide a decent amount of protection, and are "sufficient" where gaiters are not. You could try folding the gaiter to get two layers of protection. However, that relies on the assumption that nothing about the structure itself lead to the poor results. It may be that air more readily escapes over the top of a neck gaiter whereas with traditional masks with more tightly sealed edges encourage your breath to escape (and breath to come in) through the cloth. Insufficient protection puts others at risk, so I would at least double up the fabric if you are going to go this route. As to whether that is enough, I think it is speculative enough that you need to decide for yourself whether the risk is worth it. I'm not sure whether we are allowed to put links here so I recommend searching for gaiter mask study or something similar to learn more about the study directly. I certainly wouldn't take the word of a random Amazon reviewer, so I don't expect you to do so.

Answer:	I think it would. I bought it for my 1 year old twins, but their 6 year old sister likes it too. It's kind of tight on her, though.

Answer:	It is open in the center so your child can crawl through and pop up. It’s a really fun toy for little ones. Can roll balls through but not as a ball pit. This also folds up small and flat so it takes up very little room to store it.
