Answer:	Its light weight. You will definitely need to bundle up with it. It’s a nice jacket but not for extremely cold weather.

Answer:	Here’s my opinion of size : yes I think it’s true to size.. although - I’m short and big , so I normally have to get a 2 or 3 XL depending on the make and brand .. being I bought this online I went with the 3XL just to make sure it would fit . It’s definitely a full cut 3XL coat .. I could have went with the 2xl and been alittle better . HOWEVER - the tail and sleeve length on this are short for being a 3XL .. I’m 5’6 with a big belly and shoulders .. so normal 2-3XL stuff fits around my belly and shoulders but all my shirts and jackets are normally LONG because I need the circumference.. THIS BEING SAID - if you are a tall person ordering a normal size for yourself .. I THINK the sleeves and tail length of the coat COULD be alittle short .. In summary - GREAT fitting coat - roomy cut and true to size ... but has shorter sleeve and tail length which are perfect for shorter guys. Also I have washed it twice in hot water and a hot dryer and it hasn’t shrunk at all ! Don’t need to worry about shrinkage . This will not .

Answer:	I'm 6' 195lbs. 36" waist (at hips / lg. gut) 46” chest. The Lg. Carhartt J140 fits pretty good, though I actually wish the waistband was smaller so I'm thinking it should fit a 40" waist. Good luck.
