Answer:	I got the small. I have a 26" waist and 35" hips and they are form-fitting but not tight, tight---very comfortable fit. Go with a medium if this is the fit you want. If you want them looser, go with a large. They don't really seem to shrink that much after washing, FYI.

My only problem with them was that they are a bit long for me as I am 5' 4 1/2". I line dry all of my Yoga pants so they never shrink. I don't know if you were to put them in the clothes dryer if they would. Hope that helps.
