Answer:	We stored birdseed in our deckbox. The lid was secured ("locked") with a carabiner but since the corners still popped up, placed a 3 ft fence post on top of the box. Something scratched the lid, chewed off the carabiner lock, then chewed a 3" x 2" hole in the lid. Opening the lid, I didn't see a hole, (turns out the lid has channels) but based on all the empty sunflower seed hulls I found, something successfully got in. And something peed on the deckbox. So, for years, when we used our deckbox for toy storage, it was great. Two days with birdseed, it's ruined.

Answer:	According to the manufacturer website, small "deck boxes" can hold approx. 150lbs. I would think that this probably fits in that category. Someone did say it held their weight but they were 135lbs. Hope this helps.

Answer:	My neighbor bought one of these the summer before we got our "Snowmaggedon" here in the DC area. (42 inches of snow followed 6 weeks later by record 90's on Easter.) Her's was outside her back door during the whole winter exposed to all the elements. I got one in 2011 to store gardening shoes and such and it is also outside on a deck uncovered. Both mine and my neighbor's look as good as the day we got them. I am here to order a second one for my covered front porch to store winter necessities. I hope this info helps.

Answer:	We bought 2 sets of these chairs: Costway Tolix Style Dining Chairs Industrial Metal Stackable Armrest Chairs Bistro Metal Wood Furniture, Set of 4 (Black). With the leaf in, all 8 fit perfectly and you have plenty of elbow room. Without the leaf, we use 6 and the other 2 are just decor.

Answer:	I did it by myself but I would say that it is mildly to somewhat difficult because of the weight of the top. You need a clear floor space that allows plenty of room around the table. I placed the top on the floor, upside down, still inside the box to protect the finish, then attached the legs. After that it takes some effort to turn it back right side up if you are alone.

Answer:	Go to the John Boos website to see the various add-on's; I don't recall if they offer drawers for this model. From what I have seen all add-on's can be added later - possibly with some dissassembly.
