Answer:	Pull out the winding dial. It has a few "levels" and clicks as it goes along. Yes the dates are actually accurate though they are very small. You will of course have to reset the watch any time a month with less than 31 days passes....just as you would with any other non-digital watch.

Answer:	If you look very carefully at the back of the watch you will find a very small indentation where the front and back of the case meet. If you take a small thin screw driver and put the end into the indentation and twist it you can pop the back cover off. Inside the case you will find a tiny battery in the center part of the operating mechanism. Carefully remove it and replace it with a new battery. Once the battery is installed push the back cover into the front of the case and your watch will start to run again. Most of the time people never notice the tiny notch and simply throw the non functioning watch out because they think there is no way to restart it again. If you know the secret you can keep the watch running for a very long time.

Answer:	No. Mine was well over 62" when fully packed. I used it to carry washable feminine hygiene kits (fairly dense fabric) to Uganda, and I needed to get 49 lbs in each duffel bag. I had to use a smaller duffel inside this one as a compression bag to compact 90% of the kits in, then put the remaining 10% of the kits around the compression bag in order to get close to 50 lbs without exceeding 62". The other answer used space bags. So you would need some sort of compression to get close to 50lbs of fabric w/o exceeding 62".

The diameter of the front and back case cover is 4.5 cms (1.75 inches). You have roughly 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm available for engraving. This will leave 0.5 cm on each side.
