Take the battery case out, turn upside down, there are 8 screws to come out. 2. Unplug the battery cables, 2 on each battery, the hardest thing was getting the battery out of the case, they were Velcroed in. We did not Velcro them back. 3. plug the cables into the 4 clips put the 8 screws in and you are all set. Took less then 20 mins. It is now being charged. Hope this helps. BF |

| Answer: | I have an 80-200 AFD 2.8 lens and it is very sharp and takes very nice portraits with good bokeh. I also use it to sneak up on people at weddings and receptions. If you plan on taking a lot of portraits then it would be more convenient to get the 85mm, but if you only take an occasional portrait then just use your 80-200. Be sure to fine tune the autofocus of the 80-200 in your camera. I've been thinking about getting the 85mm but my 80-200 does such a nice job I can't really justify the purchase. |

| Answer: | Not sure where you heard that this lens would be inappropriate for indoor portraits, but any fast 85mm lens (including this one) is fine for indoor headshots. If you're looking to get more than head and shoulders you might want to look at the 50mm f1.8. |

| Answer: | this is a great lens, and with the 1.8 aperture, it really does low light well. However, its not going to do very well at group pictures because it can't go very wide. If you are trying to do group photos at a wedding, looking at a 35mm 1.8 or a 50mm 1.8. |
