Answer:	Yes. The handles are sturdy although the case is a little heavy especially once you have loaded it. Obviously, you would not pick it up or carry it with the extendable handle, but that slides into the case easily. We have lifted it into and out of the car easily.

Answer:	there is a padded insert that goes across the whole length. This sits on top of the horizontal inserts. Light stands can lay on top and there are two Velcro straps that wrap around the stands to hold in place.

Answer:	Would depend on the size of the laptop. My laptop measuring ~15x10 inches wouldn't appear to fit according to the stated dimensions.
