| Answer: | It came folded into 4 columns and then rolled into a cloth bag. By the end of summer you could see where the folds were but they had "pretty much" flattened out because the rug is very thin which I initially didn't like but appreciated after I realized it was easy to handle and drained very well after a rain. I don't think it will ever be completely smooth but i found it more than acceptable for the price. I rolled it without folding for winter storage ( did not remember where I put its storage bag) and it now lies perfectly flat but you can see the straight, regular fold lines because the weave had shifted with the original folding. Can't say anyone ever commented on the folds but we try not to invite people who might! |

My bees were ok while I cleared the area with a chain saw, but when I tried to set the boxes upright, they decided to attack! I ended up with 15 stings on my arms and legs. I picked out 157 stingers out of the suit, so maybe 15 wasn't so bad. What was worse was finding 2 bees inside the veil. Closer inspection showed a dozen small tears in the mesh material hidden in the folds. |

Therefore we generally advise customers not to machine wash their beekeeping suits and instead spot clean by hand.If you would like to machine wash your suit, then we recommend you remove the veil, close the zippers, fasten the velcros, turn the suit inside out, and place the suit in a garment washing bag. Then wash your suit, in the garment bag, on the gentlest cycle and hang it to dry. |

| Answer: | Good question. If you go to the Ultra Breeze Web site, they have a sizing guide that shows you how to measure yourself to find the proper suit size. They also allow you to exchange your suit for another one after purchase, one size up or down (assuming you return it in good condition). The suits are sized generously; you want it to be loose so that it doesn't hug your skin, lest the bees sting through it. I am a male, 5'10", 230 lbs, waist size 42, and I typically like to wear 2X shirts because I like a looser fit. My suit is an XL and I think it's a good fit. I did notice that the pants are long; there is about six inches of extra length in my case. But that is OK.The suit itself is very comfortable (that is, as comfortable as a head-to-toe protective suit can be). It breathes very well, and if there is a little breeze when you're working, it's fine even on a warm day. It is very well constructed. |

| Answer: | Hi: While no suit is 100% sting-proof, this suit is your best protection. The suit is heavy duty cotton and offers full protection. There is even a collar on the inside, to prevent stings on the neck. This is the suit I use (except during hot summer days, when I wear our Ventilated suit) while working my bees. We have quite a few pest control companies that use our suits when doing bee removals. Also, before you remove the bees, I would recommend you smoke them with a hive smoker. This will calm them down a bit and hopefully make them less aggressive. Hope this helps. |
