Answer:	It should. I've carried a D700 and D200 with an 18-200mm lens. I believe the D5 is a little bigger, but the interior of the bag has velcro dividers that can be configured to get a good custom fit. I have many different carry bags, but this one is my favorite.

Answer:	I just got my bag today and I have my Canon SL2 with a 18-300 lens and it takes up the whole right side. If I used the reg 55 lens, there would be room for it to move a bit and the 300 lens will take up the left side. This bag is an easy bare min bag with easy access, not meant to store all your camera gear like a reg size backpack. So an easy day with a single or two lens type of day...it will work great.

Answer:	Hi Kate, Yes you can but it is designed to sit on the left shoulder. It works just as good if you put it over your head on the right shoulder.

Answer:	It should work fine. I use mine with a 70-300mm zoom attached to the camera. The only thing you would need to be aware of with a longer lens mounted is to push it to the side out of the way before sitting down.
