I had nothing better to do this afternoon, so I went ahead and did some research on your behalf, to help answer your question. My findings were enlightening - It appears that canvas, by nature, is not necessarily “waterproof” per se, but a few rain drops won’t cause it to dissolve! That said,I wouldn’t take with you 14 feet below the ocean on your next scuba diving trip... as your socks may get wet. If you need to take a bag with you underwater, you may want look search “under water” or “water proof” duffel bags. Answer:	Measurements are 21×13×7.5 I believe. On a backpacking trip I managed to fit a fanny pack, 2 sweaters, a flannel shirt, a small toiletry bag, a raincoat, a towel, and about 7 days' worth of the shirts/bottoms/underwear. It was a VERY tight squeeze but the bag can hold a lot if you roll your stuff small and cram it in there! I wrapped the shoulder strap around it to take some pressure off the zipper too.
