Answer:	My unit arrived with a adapter unit to fit on the top of the tree. I never intended to use it on a tree so have no idea if and how it works. I am thrill with the unit and all of its sounds. Just what I need for a Harry Potter display.

Answer:	Also been collecting since 1991. This serves as both a tree topper and this year's ship ornament. There is no regular ship ornament this year. This tree topper is absolutely fantastic and a must buy. It looks awesome and has some really nifty lighting effects. The other ones for this year are Kirk, Uhura, and Sulu from the episode Mirror Mirror, which link together with the tree topper optionally to do a story telling bit from the episode.
