Answer:	I work with kids as a teacher so here's my best shot at your question: you could possibly take the backpack to a store that does monograms and have your child's name monogrammed on the front side. It might be a little costly but DEFINITELY would make it stand out as his/hers. Or, you could purchase a name tag or name keyring and attach to the zipper. You could even make a handmade name tag for that matter. Other ideas might be to attach other personal items to the zipper to make it stand out from other kids' backpacks. Good luck!

Answer:	I use this as my carry on all the time, and it's fine. If you stuff it too full it may have to go in the overhead bin, but I've had it full of books, a laptop, a coat, and a purse (along with other odds and ends) and fit it under the seat in front of me just fine.

Answer:	We do not advise dry erase markers to be used on matte finish laminates. We suggest you use Vis-à-Vis marker, this marker are mainly for use on overhead projectors, transparencies and laminated calendars.

Answer:	Wet erase markers are made with water soluble dyes, are intended to be used on laminated surfaces, and can be removed with a damp cloth. Answer:	The slot you are referring to next to side pocket is not for bottle of water but for cell phone. One of the side pockets has two zippers, so the idea is to keep bottle in it while zipped as much as you can to hold it in place, but unfortunately it doesn't work good with any average to larger size bottles. The lack of easily accessible water pocket is the reason I am not giving this backpack 5 stars

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend keeping beer in this, as it won't stay cold. Search for Icemule for a cooler/drybag. That being said, if you are looking to get an idea of what 35L means in real terms, you could easily get a 30 pack of cans in here. If you also put ice in there, it would be heavy as heck and it wouldn't be comfortable to carry. I use this in the dry storage in my kayak to put clothes and towels, first aid kit, lunch, and so forth in. It works great for that. It's not a cooler, if you want a drybag cooler this is not it. Again look into Icemule, i believe their largest offering has backpack straps.
