Answer:	You have to remove the tail to walk. The tail is hard plastic, covered in a soft neoprene with foot pockets built in, you have to sit, pull off the cover then get your feet out of the tail to walk. There very fun for kids, they work well if your kid is a good swimmer.

Answer:	Any of them will fit in suits , but make sure the size is correct for mermaid suits. I ordered small monofins for grandkids 6-12 years old, & large monofins for my daughter 27 yrs old.
