Answer:	Hello. Dalia/tan is what they are advertising as the boot color , which does look raspberry as well. But to my knowledge Dalia falls in that raspberry color category. Sorry o cannot be of much more help as I ordered mines in black.

Answer:	SO GOOD. I walk in these daily. Take my dog out for 1+ mile walk even in winter. Obv if there is a lot of black ice it will be tough, but regular winter/snow/some ice is totally fine!

Answer:	Don't use the provided measurement chart that's featured on this listing. I measured my foot several times to make sure I had the correct measurement, and my foot is 25 cm... which translates to an 8 according to THIS size chart, but every other size chart I've found on the internet says that a 25cm foot translates to a size 9. I definitely am a size 9 or 9.5 (if I want more room for thick socks). I actually have these boots in a size 10, and they were fine for REALLY thick socks, but I probably would have done best with a 9.5.

Answer:	Yes, they are waterproof, unless you're looking at standing in water for a long period of time. I've stepped through creeks, and puddles, and have never had my feet get wet. Would I trust them standing in the creek for an hour or two, I don't think so. (But if that's what you're looking for, I'd suggest neoprene boots, not these). They are warm, winter boots that are waterproof well beyond the extent most people would need them to be. I own a pair of these and just ordered another (I've had mine for 4+ years). They still function just fine, but they 're looking worn is all.

Answer:	The laces are functional. I have weird chicken legs so even when the boots were zipped they weren't quite tight enough on my legs and cold air could still get in. I tightened the laces and problem solved!

Answer:	I wear mine all the time. Warm enough for cold weather, but not too warm for warm weather. Obviously not something you would want to wear on the hottest day of the year, though.

Answer:	if you wear wide size, do yourself a favor and go up a size. 10.5 wide were painfully tight and I have never had a shoe described as wide fit this poorly. I would hate to see what the regular width might be as the wide was WAY more narrow than anticipated

Answer:	Yes. My husband is a size 10.5, and that's what we ordered. They fit him perfectly.
Question:	I wore mine out on a hike and while rafting they got soaked. how should i dry them? i'm afraid if i put them in the dryer they'll shrink
Answer:	You're going to want to sun dry them for several hours. Lets say it takes 6 after 3 hours put fabric softner sheets in the front like 2 or 3 each. Also it would be good to wash them. Let them sit in a bucket of warm water with some non damaging soap (use a old toothbrush to clean the nooks and crannies). This process takes 1.5 days one day to clean .5 to dry.

Answer:	The whole boot is waterproof. I wore them in the snow and accidentally stepped in a puddle. My feet were dry all day.

Answer:	I don't know what the others are talking about. My husband carried our 3 kids down a mountain about 100 yards or so during a snow storm, up and down to take each one at a time. He was moving the fastest of the whole group. Didn't slip, great traction, and feet stayed the dryest of everyone's.

Answer:	I ordered a size 10.5 and it was too big, so I ordered a size 10 and it was too small. When you put them next to each other, the size difference is huge. The shoes aren't marked by size either, so it seems like a random guess when you order them. Not sure what's going on. Returning them both and just going elsewhere.

Answer:	That is why I bought these. They are durable and waterproof. I have walked into water up to half way up the boot with no seepage. Comfortable, flexible.

Answer:	Timberland White Ledge boots are not insulated and so are not particularly warm in and of themselves. However, because they're mostly leather with few seams, they are very waterproof (many boots claim to be waterproof but are not--too many seams and non-leather parts) and keep your feet dry which helps keep them comfortable. You can buy insulated boots, but unless you're like my sister-in-law (her feet are always cold), they will be too warm in the summer. I much prefer to wear a non-insulated boot and then make them feel warmer/cooler by wearing wool socks in winter and cotton socks in summer. As long as your feet stay dry and you have good moisture-wicking wool socks, this sock method works for me in the winter. Make sure there's enough room in the boots for thicker wool socks--cramped feet will always feel cold.

Answer:	Yes, it works on snow. It is the very first shot boot I ever have. And if you notice I use "IS" not "WAS", because I am still wearing it now, since 2004. It is 15 years already. I only use it in winter time and raining day when the weather condition will not be safe with regular sneakers. I use this boot as snow day shoes in each year, for 15 years now, and the shoe is still in very good condition. I am thinking to get a second pair in different color now. BUT, I will not give this boot a 5 -star rating due to the very poor design of the show lace. For no reason, this round shoe lace constantly got loose when I was walking. After many years' upset with the original round shoe lace, I replaced it with regular flat shoe lace and it works very well now. Therefore, I suggest you also get a regular flat shoe lace ready when the round lace is not properly holding up, so you can just replace it.

Answer:	They don’t go up extremely high. Since they are lace up, they make it easy to make them loose at the top. I don’t think they should be a problem!

Answer:	Boot ratings will vary. I have worked retail for numerous years and am an avid outdoors man, these will be comfortable potentially down to maybe -15 if you run warm. They do not have thick insulation and the liners do pack down a bit with wear. People will say various temps but its all subject to the individual and their body temp. If you are moving around in these boots you could stay warmer. If you will be wearing these for california winters they will work well. Do not expect to last all day in 0 degree or colder weather with minimal movement. If you wear these boots for to and from work all winter they will do great. Do not put more than one pair of wool socks on thinking you will keep your feet warm...not the case. If you want a all day outdoors activity boot for below zero temps...look for another option.

Answer:	I just ordered my normal size in a boot. I always go a half size up. I honestly could’ve not gone a half size up and these would’ve still fit (maybe not with super thick socks). Both are cute, comfortable and weatherproof, but neither are as warm or breathable as the Joan of Arctic, Caribou type styles. Also the traction isn't great in icy conditions. Ok for running errands or workplace casual on plowed pavement.

Question:	What comes after 10 toddler in terms of sizing
Answer:	Per the drop down box on the sizing it shows 11 Little kid would be the next size after 10 toddle. My daughter is 10 y/o and wears a 5 Big Kid. I originally orderd a 4 Big Kid. She tried it on and it was snug across the toes. I exchanged for next size up and she has plenty of room. She can even get a thick pair of socks in them. I don't think she will need a thick parin. She says she is warm, and they are comfortable. For a molded boot they are light and not to cumbrsum for her to walk in when out shopping. Her only complaint is they make her feet "HOT" when she's not outside. But for just in and out of stores quickly she will be fine. Not a boot to wear all day at the mall.

Answer:	You have to convert cms. to inches, thus multiply 23 cms x .3937 = 9.0 inches When buying a boot then ask the vendor what size will fit a foot with 9 inches long. Some times the inches are not equal to the size number, so you need to contact the vendor for this.
Question:	My l/o will be 5 and she wears a size 11 in sneakers (currently) will the size 1 work or would it be way too big
Answer:	Probably way too big, but age 5 is often a growth spurt. Columbia is cut pretty close to size. My l/o loves these boots! He says his feet never get cold.
