Answer:	Hello, Thank you for asking. There is no pad that I know of available for this. We're do not condone using anything in the playard that has not been tested to the standards we test to. We cannot suggest using 3rd party items like pads or other mattresses. The Room2 already includes a Mattress, Waterproof cotton sheet and carry case, so it should include everything you would need.

They fit flush against the wall. I like that if you rent, like I do, there is no need to put a nail in the wall. I use double sided heavy white tape. hth

Answer:	I think there is enough room for a card. Multiple cards layered won’t work. I put a couple of layers of regular paper in there and I feel there’s a bit more room to spare so one card would work.

Her effort was unsuccessful but if she had been really persistent I am sure she could have figured out how to push through to open it. She only tried it once and then left it alone. There is not much of a ledge for them to sit on...so I think that helps too. I would not trust that it is 100% reliable in keeping cats out but that it can help be a barrier giving you a little time to intervene. It was honestly what led me to purchase this because I do think it will provide some protection from curious cats :)
