Question:	Does the onesie have to say uncle
Answer:	You can buy a cable with a microphone as long as the connectors on the earbud ends are compatible. Look up what type of connector it is and get one with a mic. I did the same for all my other earphones, and this one seems to have MMCX sockets. Do double check on that though, but basically you can search for "(socket type) mic cable" on Amazon or eBay.
Question:	How should I wash the onesie
Answer:	I had to replace 2 pair within several days of use due to one of the monitors failing. I eventually pushed for a refund as it was unacceptable for a $500+ pair of IEM's. I would contact Fender in regards to their warranty.
