If you don't use an Iphone case there will be a gap around the edge of the protector and if you do use a case there may still be a gap depending on the lip dimensions of the case. I had this problem with a generator and it ended up being the load sensing section of the generator not telling the engine to speed up. Also, I would try to rev up the engine manually at the carburetor itself to make sure it functions correctly before digging any deeper. Hope this helps

Carefully align the protector as you let it touch the screen starting from one end. It will settle on the screen, attaching as it goes with no bubbles. Answer:	This fits my 6 plus, 7 plus and 8 plus perfectly. I also am able to get the Otterbox case to fit nicely with this. I can testify as to the strength of the two used together. Last year, I got out of an uber and could not see that the drive left the door right at a heap of cement from construction site. I had the iphone in my hand as always when getting out to do the tip and rating quickly. I tripped on this cement and went flying face down, arms outstretched. The iphone in the case and this screen hit the hard irregular cement pile with the full force of my body/hand. The screen did shatter as it should but the iPhone was not harmed at all. The construction guy was going to pay for any damage but there was none to even think about. With two screens in the package, I was able to easily cover the screen once the old one was all off. I was surprised completely to see this. I also have a bad habit of taking my iphone with me everywhere in the house. At times when I've been in the bathroom with hard ceramic tile floor, I've dozed off slightly and the first notice to make me aware is the sound of the phone crashing to the hard floor.
