Question:	Is the cable pre-tinned so you dont have to apply your own solder
Answer:	The display is applied to the contacts by pressure of silicon pressure pads underneath, no solder is required. Go slowly as aging Hard plastics tend to break very very very easily. After the plastic broke off unscrewing the first pressure screw first I decided to ghost-drill out the remaining 3. This method requires even more precision and patience. The ribbon cable is Very Stiff and you will need to massage it to the exact shape of the defective one. Best of Luck!

Answer:	I have a E39 540i Sport and it fits perfectly. Should be the same for an M5. Pain in the "rear end" to change. I ended up pulling my dash out and sending it to a professional. Cost $119 and four days.

Answer:	It's not waterproof. It's water resistant. There's a big difference & a huge misunderstanding for consumers across all popular mobile devices. Most of them are water resistant, not water proof ... which means you may get caught in the rain And you shouldn't get water damage. Question:	I order this and no where can i find how to remove the old digitizer to replace...worthless without that....where can i find info on removing digitize
Answer:	I dont honestly think you can replace just the digitizer. I bought just the glass too. Couldnt get the digitizer unstuck from broken glass and the other digitizer i ordered came with it glued right to the glass
Question:	I just broke my glass(screen) not the protective glass on it the screen itself can I buy this for the touch works perfectly only the glass is cracked
Answer:	Yes, but it is very difficult to do properly. Separating the broken glass from your operational screen will most likely result in the screen breaking. Then you'd need to apply LOCA glue to the screen to adhere it to the new glass. Also difficult. I'd recommend either applying a nice screen protector on top or buying a replacement screen. Because chances are you are just going to ruin the "working" screen you already have.
