Answer:	yes you will need it to expand but that was just minutes before i could use it. maybe overnight gets ever bit of firmness available but i used mine right away. the outer cover is soft yet the pillow provided a firm cushion for my healing knee. i wish the handles were more convenient but they are there for carrying or adjusting under your leg(s). i would buy it again.

Answer:	The pillow is shaped like a U the sides are 9" tall while the part that your legs rest in is 6" tall. The front of the pillow starts at 0 and then slopes up to the 6" platform. Your thighs (hamstrings) rest on that slope and your legs rest on the platform. I have purchased many types of wedges and lumbar pillows to help with lower back pain. This is by far the best support I have purchased. I purchased this one in anticipation of an upcoming knee surgery and the need to elevate my knee above my heart but have been pleasantly surprised to find that it elevates my lumbar pain as well. I don't think being short will lessen the effectiveness of the pillow. I'm 6 feet tall and my feet hang off the end slightly. If you are shorter you will just have your feet completely supported. I highly recommend the pillow and if it doesn't work for you, Amazon's return policy is amazing.

Question:	How do you fully expand? Mine is flat
Answer:	The wheels have very odd letters in odd combinations and very few options. I purchased four locks and several were different letter combinations. All five wheels on each block had the same letters, there were several O’s on each wheel, Q, U, A, B, I, H, P. However I used it for escape rooms, And with a white and black sharpie pen I was able to make pretty much any word by altering the letters. I would not use this for actual security, it was cheap for that purpose. It works amazing for escape room purpose.

Answer:	I holds my 32 oz bottle and my insulated coffee thermos. I tend to pack them inside just because it’s soooo roomy and this protects them from fall out or banging.

Answer:	I'm not exactly sure what memory foam is, but this is very firm foam material. You could probably sit on it every day for 5 hours and it would always go back into its normal form. I hope this helps...

Answer:	Not very long. It is close to those measurements the first day it is unpacked & at full size the next day. We have had this pillow for a couple of months & it is still firm
