Answer:	Techron has a web site and a contact number to call. Unless someone has opened up the engine block and tested how this additive performs, they are just guessing. Granted, Techron may just be trying to sell you something that you do not need, or need every 3,000 miles.

Answer:	Don't try to peel it off. Just pierce it through the center (not at the edge) with a sharp pointed blade, like one on a little Swiss Army keychain knife. Leave the slit alone and don't try to peel any of the seal off. If you just pierce it in the center and don't try to pull off or peel any pieces it will remain intact and tightly adhere to the bottle neck and thus continue to provide an effective seal when you close the cap.

Answer:	I would recommend that you run all gas out of the tank, then fill the tank, then drive around and use up about a quarter of the tank of gas before you go to get your car smog check. Use fresh gas only before the smog check. Don't put anything in the gas or it my fail the smog check.

Answer:	Yes and no. The side of the rings facing the inside of the cylinders and against the cylinder walls should get some cleaning. If the rings are doing their job, this won’t be able to get around them to clean the other side.

Answer:	You'd better disassemble the EGR valve and clean it with a degreaser and then install it again. If you use this product, it can help to clean it, but the remains of the carbon that accumulates in it and is going to come off will enter the combustion chamber and can damage the piston or cylinder.

Answer:	Never used gk-44 so I can’t comment on it. Buts since I’ve used the STP I’ve never had a fuel problem and or check engine light on.

Question:	No manual on how to use
Answer:	The way I used it was by pouring it down the intake port directly on top of the closed valves and letting it soak for several hours. Then using a siphon I drain the excess. I worked pretty good for my 2016 Mazda 6. The valves weren’t very dirty to begin with, but this product did make a difference. It also helps to use a stiff brass pipe cleaner or something that can reach the valve to scrub it while it’s soaking. After start up there was very little smoke. Because sea foam sits inside the combustion chamber it has a tendency to produce a lot of smoke. This product is not designed to be used inside the chamber, although it wouldn’t hurt anything. It’s purpose is to clean the intake port and valves. The Mazda now has 100,000 on it and I’ve performed this procedure twice. Keeping the intake valves clean on DI engines is a challenge, but Mazda’s seem to be much cleaner than others I’ve seen(Ford,Chevy,VW,BMW).

Answer:	Don't know. The one I got was defective and doesn't work...leaks like crazy....Unfortunately I didn't discover it was bad until after 4 days past return date.......Will not fool with this again.

Answer:	My experience with this particular defective can allows me to answer this definitively. The prolonged contact with the matte black plastic engine cover caused it to discolor as if bleached by extended sun exposure. However, none of the painted surfaces (bumper cover, grille) that received short term or minimal exposure suffered any damage. I also made sure to rinse the product off relatively quickly (within a few minutes) so as not to put the finish at risk. Other than the discoloration, there was no damage, pitting or brittleness that resulted from nearly 50% of the can emptying itself everywhere except where it was supposed to. Also, the fittings and adapters provided in the kit are all plastic.

Answer:	Fill up the fuel and put the valve clean into the gas outlet. Run 1243-2485 miles and repeat the same operation.

Answer:	Yes. I removed the intake manifold and sprayed the intake valves. I make sure the valves being sprayed are closed. I then let them soak for several hours before scrubbing them with bottle cleaner and then siphoning out the rest of the cleaner. The Eco Boost is known for dirty intake valves so I would do this every 30K or so.
