Answer:	I dk what reviews are fake or real, but I do know this product works very well! There is a convenient release button on the back that springs open the sides and allows an easy removal of the phone, which (when squeezed) has a ratchet system to hug the phone when you are ready to use it again. The clamp that holds it to the vent is fully adjustable and the switch is easy to operate which locks it in place. I think you will be very pleased.
Question:	I have an otter box on my iphone 6s plus. Will the mount still fit
Answer:	I have an iPhone 8 plus with a Spigen Herringbone case and Ring holder on the back and have been using this holder for a year now with no issues. Yes, the phone does not fit perfectly in to the holder and does stick out but there is still enough grip from the sides and with it tilted up to my view point in my car, Mazda CX5, the phone has never fallen out. At least not yet. I have tried a LOT of holders and this has been the best one I have found to date. I am buying 2 right now for my parents. My dad was driving my car while I was out of the country last month and the holder mysteriously disappeared when I went to get the car back. :)

Answer:	It can hold S8 but not Note8 or Note9 (Note series are too heavy). Even with S8, overtime it will just get loose.. We had to put in a plastic piece to make it clam stronger on the air vent. Personally I think the design can be improved

Installation Instrustions

1. Hold the car mount with your hands and unscrew the lock washer on the back. (Do not throw away this washer) Place circular ball on lever through lock washer.

2. Insert the ball into the slot in the back of the mount.

3. Tighten the lock washer back onto the mount.

4. The unit is now assembled.

5. Use the bi-directional lever to clamp the mount to your air vent. One way will be tighter than the other.

6. Adjust your mount to the desired position and you are ready to go!

7. Simply open the sides with the button on the back of the mount and place your cell phone or device in the mount and close the sides to secure it. Then use the quick release button on the back to remove your device.

2. Insert the ball head into the socket of clamp head until you hear a "click".
3. Tighten the screw nut1.The tighter the nut, the harder it is to rotate the clamp head.
4. Loosen the screw nut2 until it attaches to the screw nut1.
5. Make the clip hook downward and pull open the clip plate, push the hook into the air vent grille to catch a blade, then release the spring clip plate to make it fix to the air vent.
6. Make sure the product is already installed stably, then tighten the screw nut2. Installation complete!!

Answer:	not sure about "melting" but it definitely loosens and falls to the floor. I live in San Diego ... not much excessive heat here, and three different iOttie models in three different cars have just failed after a few months (or even after a few weeks) of use. I've washed them numerous times, scrupulously cleaned the dashboards, and still they don't stay mounted. It's a great product otherwise .... and I was really hoping that this model 3, V2 would be improved enough to stay mounted. But alas, no. Company responds to complaints but only with instructions to clean and re-mount. This 3rd one is going back to Amazon.

Answer:	I've been using an iOttie on the textured plastic dash of two vehicles for 3 - 4 years. It has been on and off several times and other than a clean spot on the dash, you cannot tell its been there. It merits pointing out that the reason it has been off is because it eventually loosens from the dash in the heat of full Texas sun in summer. The first time I mounted mine it stayed for about 18 months before coming loose. A quick wash of the sticky cup with soap and water and a dash cleaning and it was good for another year. Over time the length of a solid mounting gets a little shorter each time. after 4 years I'm down to a few months between remounts.

Step 1

Flip the grip release knob to the widest air vent mounting grip gap. Clip the mount on your car’s air vent and then flip the grip release knob to to lock.

Answer:	You should not have a problem with heat slowing the phone down. I had that happen to me once and I'm a field tech. I also point the vents at the roof of my car which evenly distributes the air and diverts away from the phone. These big mounts usually prevent the phone from getting too hot too. However, I'm in TX and I can't use a windshield mount. The mount will melt right off the suction cup in a matter of several months and I'm stuck buying another one.

Installation Instructions

1. Unscrew the screw nut 1, place it onto the ball head.
2. Insert the ball head into the socket of clamp head until you hear a "click".
3. Tighten the screw nut 1.The tighter the nut, the harder it is to rotate the clamp head.
4. Loosen the screw nut 2 until it attaches to the screw nut 1.
5. Make the clip hook downward and pull open the clip plate,push the hook into the air vent grille to catch a blade,then release the spring clip plate to make it fix to the air vent.
6. Make sure the product is already installed stably,then tighten the screw nut 2.Installation complete!!
