Answer:	They is no perfect sterilization process, other than sealed bags with nuclear radiation, but it is better than air drying. As soon as the steam stops and the parts start to cool down then there is the opportunity for bacteria to begin to grow again, just like everything else in this world. If you believe that you can prevent your kids from ever coming into contact with any bacteria, then you should go back and study biology again. This certainly helps, but nothing is 100%.

Answer:	It depends on how often it's used... so, yes it can. But if my baby used it often/all day/every day, I'd change the pacifier out every month for sanitary purposes.

Question:	I see 'package dimensions' listed (11.18x10.71x7.91) but what are the actual product dimensions
Answer:	Not sure about the 0+ month ones as we used the Nuk silicone pacifier for 0-4 months (and actually we still use it at 6 months!). The 4+ month Chicco one for us was too large for our baby when she was less than 4 months, but after 4 months was perfect. So i'm assuming the sizing is accurate for the age they have listed.

Answer:	The edges are more firm than the part that goes in the baby mouth but it is not hard plastic it is all one piece made of silicone. It's kinda like the Phillips advent. Hope this helps.
Question:	What does the HE code mean? I didn’t see it in the manual
Answer:	They seem just as hard but maybe a little more flexible. The holes are about the same size as my Phillips soothies but these are heart shaped holes. I can fit my pinkie in the holes if I try and stretch them.
