Answer:	Supposed to, I'm not sure. In real time, less than 3hrs, but not sure how many. We usually make piping hot lunch as late as possible for our kid at around 7:45-8:00am and based on our kid's complaints that lunch is "too cold to eat" by 11:30am, it seems to last less than 2.75hrs. Also it's very difficult to open for both children and adults when a vacuum pressure forms from hot foods. We bought a pair and another mom and teacher broke them both attempting to help my kid.

Answer:	It depends! If you have a big sandwich it won’t fit. But it was a very good acquisition. My daughter‘a teacher loved it. (I used to send my daughter’s lunch to school. It really keeps the food heated.
