Answer:	The ones I purchased had Black ink in them. Looks like they are availible in all three colors. The one you have showing here is Red.

Question:	How do the V5 differ from the V7, besides color
Answer:	The difference is the thickness of the pen tip, they each come in a variety of colors. The V5 are 0.5 mm, whereas the V7 are 0.7 mm. Although it may not sound like much of a difference, it makes a big difference in the thickness of the line of ink. It all depends on your preference as to which one you will like. Personally I prefer the V5.
Question:	is it airplane safe
Answer:	It seems to depend on altitude. I've only had a problem on ~5% of domestic flights but a near-100% failure rate on international flights (which means ink everywhere if you're not careful when you open it after landing). I always travel with a gel pen (e.g., Pilot Neo-Gel or G2) in my bag as a backup.It's ironic because Pilot's old TV commercials took place on an airplane with someone shouting "I need a pilot!" I always thought they should have ended with everyone covered in ink.
Question:	Please remove the photo showing varying shades of blue, purple and green. These pens are not available in those colors according to the Pilot website. Yes, the listing says that colors may vary, or are assorted, but what it doesn't tell you is that you have NO CHANCE of getting the colors as pictured
Answer:	Hello,We do apologize, but that is the correct image. I personally checked the item myself in our warehouse, and they are the assorted colors and they are those colors on the image as well. Question:	How long would these Pilot Precise V5 Black pens last UNUSED? Like, just laying around, would they dry up if I don't use all 12 fast enough
Answer:	A very long time. I've been using these pens for about 12 years now. I have an approximately 10-year-old pen (still the old grey design) that's gone strong. Also a box of the newer style (black, like what's in the picture) that are probably 8 years old now. They just keep writing. Keep the cap on 'em and you'll be fine for a decade or more.
