Question:	Genovoese basil pod did not germinate what would I do to replace it
Answer:	Personally, I’d reach out to AeroGarden. They may send replacement pod. Have to make sure you’re following the instructions carefully. Add water when needed. Add plant flow when needed. I set reminders. Also need to adjust the lighting as needed. My basil produced basil leaves the size of my hand. Then I forgot to add more water to the reservoir one day and accidentally killed off 3 plants.
Question:	Did any of the pods got some mold on it
Answer:	This is actually addressed in the directions. It's normal to have growth on the pods and a positive sign! Hang in there if you see this. It means your plant should soon sprout!
Question:	The lights on the control panel are on continuously, is that normal
Answer:	Yes it is! The "Add Plant Food" light is green, the "Add Water" light is blue, and the "Light On/Off" is white. When an action is required, the light of that button will blink red.
Question:	Do these actually grow herbs or do they just kinda die slower
Answer:	They grow beautiful herbs. I had so many I couldn’t use them all. The only herbs I had trouble with are curly parsley and cilantro. I am trying them again now but too early to see if they will grow as well as the others. The lettuces are phenomenal. I can’t use them all. I have 4 AeroGardens. 2 of the 3 pod variety and 2 of the 6 pod variety. They all work wonderfully.

Answer:	Yes. Peel off just the thin outer skin to reveal the seed underneath. I have never been able to grow avocados the old fashioned way. With the AvoSeedo's I have TREES!!

Answer:	Funny and legit. I saw a cool universal socket that I plan to buy but it was only for husband, boyfriend, father, man, uncle - you get the idea. And I thought “What - women don’t use tools?!”
Question:	if every thing goes well how many years before it will grow avocados you can eat
Answer:	I’ve read about people getting fruit in 5-7 years, it’s worth the try. The only thing is you need to be in a fairly hot climate; most of the Avocados eaten in USA are imported from Mexico. Southern California has robust commercial Avocado production, but go figure, we apparently export most of our crops! Growing a tree at home from a pit requires monitoring conditions regularly. They need rich soil (compost each spring, and “Citrus/Avocado” fertilizer, organic of course.) Don’t over-do it, though; follow fertilizer directions. They need adequate water in fruit stage, but a little stress is what triggers the fruit to form, so don’t over-water. For the first couple years, it should be tended to in interest of green growth; pinching will help it be bushier, which means more fruit! You can grow them in a pot, also. Change out the soil every other year or so and fertilize more often but with a weaker or lesser amount fertilizer. Something to try that works for other flowering plants is the use of Epsom salts (magnesium) to encourage flower production. You’re on your own for instructions on that, it worth a try in say the 3rd or 4th Spring. Sorry such a long answer, but wanted you to realize it’s a fun, do-able project, worth the “trouble.” And it DOES NOT take 50 years to bear fruit!!!

Answer:	I found that putting it on the back of my iMac made the mouse skip a lot. I guess the metal frame of the computer -- or maybe the USB ports -- were interfering. I put it onto a spare USB port on my keyboard and now it works perfectly.

Answer:	Ages 5 & Up, we recommend using crayons, washable markers, colored pencils, permanent markers or acrylic paint. Assorted color plastic handles but the wheel is white for decorating.

Answer:	Yes you could tie die the individual pieces. You can decorate each square any way you like to make them unique. Then put them together.
Question:	How long does this last? Mine was only about 2 weeks
Answer:	No... this kit does not come with nails. It has something similar to tongue and grove assembly. I used wood glue as well, but not required. The wood is very thin... almost wafery. I know that is not a word, but the best example I could think of at the moment. My scouts had a good time building them though, and the lack of nails was a bonus in my opinion as they could put them together themselves. There was one design that we could not get together. Most likely user error and not an issue with the design.If you have ever built a Home Depot bird house, this is a lot less substantial. Again, not having eight boys use a hammer and nails at the same time was a plus.

Question:	How does this kit do with controlling the odor, is it low key enough so that the house wouldn’t smell
Answer:	If you’re a woman that can typically buy a hat off a rack, it’s a bit big, at least for me. I’m used to buying lots of hats and many are just too big. When I bought this white one, it, too, was a little big for me, I’m going to take it to my hat guy who can put a liner inside to make it fit perfectly. Hope that helps. Never measured my head, but I think it’s a size small.

Answer:	I do not recall if that hat has wash instructions on it, but I have washed mine on delicate in cold water and it looks great! After a dip in the ocean, it needed a good cleaning. I let it air dry and it is good as new!

Answer:	Hand wash with cold water and detergent. Do not bleach and tumble dry.
Question:	My stem is starting to become dark from the bottom up and half the leaves have fell off, what can I do to mediate an over watered plant
Answer:	I play golf often and the hat flap does not - unless the wind gets 25 mph and then it's still not too bad. I had the same trouble with other wide brim hats blowing up if the wind got too high. I rarely have any "flapping" issues with this hat.
Question:	Should the 14 inch be repotted? And if so... what is the proper soil to use
Answer:	Not a problem. I live in Arizona, and the mesh is a must in the heat. A lot of upside and no downside.
