• Clean the surface to remove any dirt, then dry it with a dry towel.
• Lightly wet the bottom of the suction cup to create a good seal. Make sure the suction is set to the unlocked position. Then, put it in the desired location.
• After applying pressure, lock the suction cup by rotating the white ring around the base clockwise.

Removing

• Untwist the lock by rotating the white ring counter-clockwise. The suction cup should fall off by itself. Otherwise, pull it off by pulling on the small tab on the top.

Answer:	I don’t use it in the shower, but I suppose you could as long as you suction it to a very dry surface. The section on it is very strong. Answer:	In the details it says 2 pounds. However, this was a gift to my mother and she doesn't seem to find it too heavy to move. Oh, she is 91 :) It is of a weight so when you push the mirror you don't have to worry about it moving around.

Answer:	I bought one of these mirrors and loved it soooooo much that I bought a spare! I just went and weighed the mirror and it weighed 5.4 ounces. It is very light and has great suction. Don’t hesitate, I am very picky when it comes to magnifying mirrors and this one is THE best.

Based on what msab suggested, I went to my mirror and placed my face close to the mirror then slowly moved it further away. Indeed, at a certain distance my face went upside down! So, her suggestion to use the mirror for close up work only is correct. The only other thing I can think of as an issue is perhaps you purchased a mirror with too strong of magnification. I have very strong reading glasses. Perhaps a 10X mirror would work for you.

How to use mirror with 10x magnification

1. Magnified side is only for close up makeup or shaving, so the distance between you and the mirror must be within 2''. Too far will cause vertigo, it is a normal physical phenomenon.

Answer:	It looks like nickle plated or stainless steel. Ours is installed directly across from the shower, about 3 feet from the shower, 5 feet from the floor. Not a spot of rust on it after one year. The bathroom is pretty well ventilated, but still gets steamed up when using the shower so I'm sure the mirror gets condensation on it once in a while. BTW, the previous mirror (which sat on the counter, NOT this mirror) did rust out after 15 years, so this mirror is doing well in the same general location. So far this mirror has been solid, it is rust-free and the mechanical pivots are moving freely.
Question:	Do you need a drill to install this
Answer:	It would be helpful but not needed. You can can start the screw with a punch and hammer.
Question:	How do I get the mirror to stabilize when I tilt it up or down? It seems to want to go back to the original position
Answer:	I did not have a problem with it doing this. Are the screws on the sides of the mirror tight?
