Question:	We have several of these in our inventory, but are missing the keys. Can we purchase the keys alone
Answer:	We're glad you asked! Honestly even with our relationships with OEM's we have trouble getting information about which of their devices have which lock slot. Your best bet is to go to HP's support website, type in the exact model name (e.g, 15-cs0003ca), then click the "User Guides" link, then open the Maintenance and Service Guide file. Around page 4 you'll see the security slot type. With the 15-cs0003ca (which is a Pavillion 15) page 4 stated a Nano Security Cable Slot which is our model #K64444WW. When I look up a different model (15-cc060wm) the guide states "Security Cable Slot" which is vague but probably means our standard Kensington lock mechanism will work (like this model K65035A). So, because of the wide variety of notebooks, and even Pavilion models, be safe and check the support website. Thanks!

Answer:	It’s the device maker which is responsible. All Kensington can do is provide specs. I’ve had this problem & used a rubber washer to make it fit snug. The loose feeling won’t affect the locks ability to secure the device.

It is in the up position (12 o'clock) for normal operation. rotates the lock to the correct combination and push the black button to open the lock. While holding the button down, turn the screw slot to the three o'clock position. I don't remember turn it clock wise or counter clock wise. After turning the screw, rotate the combination to the new number and then rotate the screw back to 12 o'clock. release the button and rotate the tumblers. The new number should be set then. Answer:	The original came with two keys. If you have lost both of them did you register them when you bought the lock? If you registered just login to the Kensington website and reorder your replacement keys. If you did not register like you were suppose to than you might want to call them and explain your situation. The problem might not be able to be solved if you did not register you keys as they have a special number just for your lock. Good luck!

Answer:	Standard versions have a cable thickness of 5.3mm, Ultra versions have a cable thickness of .5mm. Kensington also used to make an Ultra version that was thicker than both mentioned, but I'm not sure those are available any more.

Answer:	Yes! I checked the Dell website and the XPS 15's all have a Kensington lock slot. You simply install the "nub" into that slot with the allen wrench provided. It only sticks out about 1/4" or so--it's never caused a problem for me with various cases or sleeves. This ClickSafe system is the only one I will use. They even make a glue-on "nub" for tablets, etc. that lack a Kensington slot.

Answer:	It's pretty solid, I can't pull it out without putting in the combination. Not sure how strong the metal is on the laptop though.

Answer:	Yes, the cable swivels around the locking mechanism (computer anchor is fixed to the body of the lock, but the cable swivels at the joint just above the yellow tab shown in the product picture). No problems interfering with the DVD tray if you have clearance behind the computer.
