Answer:	No. The unit is a package deal, and is basicaly attached together.

Question:	Does the gazebo remain dry underneath in the rain? Specs say fabric is “water resistant”; also wondered if rain came in through the vent
Answer:	No. The vented top allows rain in, and there are also grommets near the base of the larger top piece that do a good job of keeping water from collecting but also allow water inside. Not a solution if you're looking for this to keep you dry.

Stable

Answer:	As I recall, the ad says the sail is not waterproof; rain will pass through the "up" side. If you were to stand under the sail and shoot water from a hose upward, it would pass through from the bottom, too. It's just not likely that anyone would do that, since they'd get wet! You could loosen two corners or take the entire thing down and wash it with a hose. They do get dirty with bird droppings, leaves, and plain old dirt, so you'd want to wash it off occasionally.

Question:	Is there holes in the feet to screw down to a deck
Answer:	Yes, there are holes in the feet where the stakes can be used to screw in the lawn. But if you intend to put it up onto the deck, please purchase expansion bolt which is not included in the package.
Question:	We routinely get 40mph winds, so we would anchor this in concrete. Does anyone have experience with this in high winds? Does the top hold up
Answer:	For anything like this - I would remove the canopy during very windy weather. The same as an outdoor umbrella; take it down in October, put it up in May or June, and take it down for windstorms / snow - that kind of thing. We had a tropical storm here last week. The canopy would have been destroyed if it were left on. That said, it's not particularly difficult to take on/pull off the canopy. You'll probably need a ladder, but it'll take you 5 minutes.

Question:	Can you place this in the front yard
Answer:	You can place it anywhere you like. We bought ours to use with our camper but it could easily be used around the house if that is your preference.
Question:	I am an older female. Can I set this up by myself
Answer:	Yes, you should be able to. I am a 75 year old female myself and like the tent because I can manage it by myself. If you have balance issues, you should be careful, because it flips open with a bit of force, and then you have to pop out the sides and lift it into place. Not heavy, just a little awkward.
