Answer:	Yes the character should work for both. My kids play with it on the swap force version.. Characters are able to be used with new versions of the skylanders game but not older versions than the characters intended game.

Answer:	I started with the 30fcd because I have used other brands of traps that were narrower and had trouble catching some of the larger cats in my area. Figured I might as well start with the wider traps. The traps work very well and vets office finds them easier to work with than the snap shut style traps. I try to use the old style if I think there is a raccoon in the area because they tear up the traps so much. The traps aren't real long to get the width, so it fits in the back of my car better. I have been very pleased with the quality of the traps and recommend them to anyone that is trying to catch feral cats. I usually line part of the bottom of the trap with cardboard and use a cardboard box to cover the trap and make it look more like a cave for hiding in.
