Answer:	Dear customer, RESPILON Adjustable Screen does not come with the option to change the filter - it is an inseparable part of the screen so that it manages to achieve the perfect seal and no air leakages . It is a seasonal consumer good - once it wears out, it is recommended to buy a new one to keep you protected. It can be noticed by e. g. its darker color or worse visibility through the net of the screen. The time it lasts depends on how bad the conditions you are using it in are - in areas suffering from heavy smog it gets clogged up faster. It is however possible to wash it but in order to keep the filtration efficiency you must handle it carefully and with extreme care to avoid damaging the membrane and follow these instructions: 1. Proceed to cleaning the membrane if it appears to be significantly covered with/clogged by smog particles, dust or pollen. 2. Remove the whole frame with the membrane out of the window and soak it in water for approx. 20 minutes at a temperature of about 40 °C (e. g. in a bath tub). If you do not have a large water tank at your disposal, lean the frame for example against the shower stall and shower it carefully at an approx. 45 degree angle from both sides with a gentle waterflow at a temperature of about 40 °C. 3. Now apply on the outside (the black side) of the membrane a cleaning detergent of your choice with a high wettability (e. g. ECOLAB MAXX Magic2). Attention! Apply detergent using spray only, at an approx. 45 degree angle. 4. Let the detergent take effect for about 15 minutes, after that shower the membrane again at a 45 degree angle with a gentle waterflow at a temperature of approx. 40 °C. It is possible to use a garden hose instead of using a shower stall. 5. Let both the membrane and frame completely dry off before installing it back to the window. I hope this answer helped you.
