Answer:	You need to be very, very close to the mirror to get a focused view. I really loved it for traveling. It's lightweight, the mirror is not distorted, and the suction cups held very well. I am very happy with my purchase.

Answer:	For beards it would be really difficult to see a large part of face in the mirror as the size is really small. It is great for focusing on small areas like eyebrows.
