Answer:	I bought it to keep cottonwood out of my A/C, so I’m not sure about dryer lint. It does a good job for my purpose.

We have done compression tests, to see if our covers effect the performance of the ac unit. We have found that when the top is covered (mesh over fan and coils), there is less optimal performance, but when the top is not covered (mesh on sides only), performance is not effected. Currently we are working on a prototype for a vinyl cover that will cover the frame of the mini-split, but leave the fan open. This would allow the unit to run and have a cover. this would not help with the covering the fan. However, if you wanted to take be a part of the planning, we could work with you.
