Answer:	Citric acid is vitamin c. It helps to lighten spots and it's good for antiging. I am sure their are other benifts, but those are the ones I have read. It's important it doesn't become oxygenation so they said to keep the bottles open for a limited period of time and then close it when you are finished using it. Hope that helps. I have this serum too. I don't know what is doing what but I use it with Eva stop the clock (glycolic acid) somenights, with a313 French retinol, or la Roche posay just recently came out with adapalene gel, which is 0.1% retiniod. Used to be by rx only. It's marketed for acne but obviously being used for antiaging. :)

Answer:	Hello, I regret to inform you that i could not use it because it was too strong on my sensitive face skin. It turned too red. I don’t recall the percentage of l-ascorbic acid.

Answer:	It didn't really help me, but I didn't use it for that long because there really wasn't a lot in the bottle, but just depends on how big of an area you are trying to cover. And also keep in mind everyone is different. So what didn't work on me could actually work on you.
