Answer:	My hotel room in South Africa had two different types of outlets. This adapter will work for the Type C outlets. This adapter will not work with Type M outlets. I'd take both this and a Type M adapter.

Answer:	Just got back from a 15 day stay in China and uses the adapter throughout with no problems. Used on 240 volt supplies and even on 120 volt systems, encountered no problems. Even here in the states when I only had a single 120 V plug, when I wanted to connect multiple UPS cords the adapter worked without any problems. For a laptop or any other piece of equipment verify that the laptop or Kindle, iPad whatever, doesn't draw more power than the adapter is certified for. Answer:	This is just an adapter, not a converter. Not all appliances need a converter. Rule of thumb, if it heats (hair appliances) or cools, it probably needs a converter. Check the voltage range on the appliance. I understand that Israel is 220-240, so if it falls within that range or you have dual voltage, you would only need the adapter. For instance, I only needed the adapter for my phone & camera chargers. FYI, some appliances, like hair dryers may be dual voltage. There may be a switch to change voltages (mine turns like a screw). In that case, you would not need a converter, only an adapter.

Answer:	Check your CPAP label. Many, if not most, are 120-240 already. No need for a converter (just use the correct plug adapter)

Answer:	You need a heavy duty converter to deal with those items, as they use a lot of current (power = voltage x current). Or, as others have said elsewhere, buy devices that can use voltages from 110 - 240 and then buy the adapter for the plug. A heavy duty converter weighs a LOT, so it will cut into your allowed weight for your luggage.

Answer:	I can't speak for the power conversion in Israel, but my experience in Spain demonstrated the device could not handle my wife's flat-iron (hair straightener). It worked for phones, ipads, camera chargers, and all other electronics great. Her flat iron would power on (light would come on indicating it was operating) but it never got hot enough to use.

Answer:	If all you are using this for is iPads or iPhones, you are wasting money. Those devices auto-detect the voltage coming in. They adapt to whatever power you are using (110v-220v, anyway). All you need is a plug converter.Laptop computers also should auto-detect. Look at your power block - it should say "Input 100-240v, 50-60Hz."

Answer:	In my case, it has been working fine. I use it for the devices which I bought mostly in China where only 220 voltage is available. I suggest you to use it as below. 1. 110-115V. Power source: Plug it to the power source using the cable behind the machine. And make it sure that you put the red indicator which is at back side just above the power cable at 115V. and plug 220V. devices into this machine using 220V. outrage which locates at left side of front side. 2. 220V. Answer:	If I understand the question, it's simply a 220 plugin that you attach a 220 appliance to, and it plugs into a 110 wall socket. I have a 220 1600w donut machine that I plug into it, and it works fine. Do the math and find out what the total wattage is for your generator and pump.
Question:	I want to bring an instapot (1000w) from canada to uk - will this work
Answer:	First of all in general it's not a great idea do you use a voltage converter for appliances that generate a lot of heat. But that doesn't mean it won't work. If you're going to try it, you want at least a 2000 watt voltage converter or maybe even 3 or 5000. Reason is that appliances that heat might say they're thousand Watts, but that's usually calculated as their average wattage once they're up to temperature and running. When you first turn it on and it's heating up oh, it's likely that the wattage is actually much higher until it gets to temperature. For example I had a 1500 watt water kettle. Blew out the fuse on my 2000 w voltage converter, because when you turn it on it spikes higher than 2000. so it's a good rule of thumb to buy a voltage converter that can handle about 3x whatever wattage you need especially for a heating appliance. It's also like the top speed of a car. just because a car can go 200 miles per hour doesn't mean you should run it at 200 miles per hour for long periods of time. You'll wear it out and damage it pretty quickly. So if you have a 900 watt appliance you don't really want to run that on a thousand watt voltage converter, it puts too much stress on it and you're better off getting a 2000 watt converter

Answer:	I have the ITU 500 which is rated for lower current. The ITU 1000 is the higher current model. I'd check with the manufacturer for the proper fuse.

Answer:	If the device is made dual voltage, meaning it can run on both 110V and 220V. If it is made for dual voltage then also make sure that max output at 110V is 880W or less. If it is for only 220V or more than 880W at 110V then you need a step down voltage converter.

Question:	Do you ship To locations outside of the United States
Answer:	Switzerland uses a type j socket which is exclusive to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. This set does not carry a type j adapter but the type C adapter (included) can fits perfectly into a type J socket.
Question:	What’s the difference between adopters and converter? Can it convert 110v to 220v
Answer:	I have replied to others several times on the converter. Like I said I didn't recommend it because it is quite heavy and wouldn't stay in the outlet because it kept falling out. It was too late for me to return it so I threw it away years ago. so I have no idea if this will work in Africa.
Question:	Will this work in China and Japan
Answer:	It comes with adapters for everywhere in the world. I've used it in London, Italy, Morocco & Wales with no problems. So, yes!
Question:	My daughter is going to england, france, switzerland, liechtenstein, austria, italy and germany will this item work in all those countries
Answer:	It does convert 220V to 110V. However, I was unable to power a small travel iron because it drew too many amps. I suspect the coffee maker would have the same issue.
