Question:	How do you clean them
Answer:	I wet a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol and clean them. This is preferable to soaking the plug in alcohol which might deform their shape. Otherwise just dilute Dawn dish soap in water, still using a Q-tip to clean the crevices. These are great, I've been to several very loud concerts this year and was able to enjoy them more with Eardials over the industrial foam plugs I usually use.
Question:	Why is the snr rating (20 db reduction) so much higher than the nnr rating (11 db)? which one is more accurate? shouldn't they be approx the same
Answer:	No, they are never the same, you can check any other test result for any other earplug. Although there is no direct SNR/NRR conversion, the NRR is always lower because it takes into account standard deviation and the calculation method is slightly different. I personally think that SNR is more accurate and NRR is the worst case scenario in edge cases.
Question:	Would these earplugs work for shooting
Answer:	Buy active over the ear protection for shooting. They cost around $40-100 and will have you hearing people whispering while completely blocking out the damaging volume of a gunshot. Guns are so loud that depending on what I'm shooting sometimes I use earplugs and over the ear at the same time. With active protection you can just crank the volume up all the way so you can still hear people talking just fine.
Question:	anyone compare the sound quality to earasers
Answer:	I'm not familiar with earasers, but having a quick look online, it looks that their attenuation curve is way to low in the lower frequencies. Our attenuation is more in the line of what is called flat attenuation across levels, to ensure the sound reach your ears without distortion.

Answer:	Buy new ones. I'd suggest to boil separately. Depending on how much they melted together they may be salvageable.

Question:	Can you have normal conversation with these in your ears
Answer:	I use the radians 2 part silicone plugs for light noise suppression like farm equipment or hammering on an anvil, but they still allow me to hear conversations, etc. Also great for keeping welding sparks out of your ear. However, they are no good for shooting so I look forward to trying this brand. Noisy bar bands are the enemy of my tinnitus so I keep silocone earplugs in my pocket but can still talk to people.

Answer:	These ear plugs have noise reduction level of 32 decibels. They appear to have the highest noise reduction rating available on the market. There is a change in perception of how it sounds because of how the human ear works, even if the drop in noise is not all that significant. Relatively speaking, a normal conversation, however, is around 60-65 decibels.
Question:	Does anyone use these for sleeping? I am wondering if they are comfortable with multi-hour use, sleeping on the side, do they stay in all night, etc
Answer:	Yes, I've worn them for sleeping for a few years now due to noisy neighbors. They are comfortable with multi-hour use; sometimes a new pair can seem a bit large when first worn (hurting my ear a bit, but I have small ears). If this happens, I just pull them out a bit and all is well. And they do stay in all night if you insert them according to the directions on the package (pull ear up and back, roll the plug tightly and insert). I don't know what I'd do without these, they are a lifesaver as far as my sleep!
Question:	The jar says 50 pair but description says 50 count. Which is it
Answer:	50 pair ='s 100 individual units. To properly block sound, the average person needs two, a pair of earplugs, one for each ear, to be effective and block the sound. Always sold in pairs, like a pair of shoes, a pair of glasses (2 lenses, one frame), a pair of pants (2 legs, but one complete unit. I counted; my container had 51.5 pair (103 pieces).

Answer:	I guess it's because your ears are too small or the ear plugs are too big. However, I don't feel comfortable wearing it while sleeping. It is quite large compare to others.

Answer:	I loved your question! I understand what you're thinking....are the serrations angled one way as opposed to another. Both sides of the blade are exactly the same and the serrations are at the bottom of the blade only and point straight down. As it turns out I am left handed too and I have no problems using this knife. It is a great kitchen tool for my homemade breads!

Answer:	These ear plugs will work, just follow the instructions. I roll mine to the diameter of. a large crayon, place it into the ear canal, then using the side of my thumb, I press it flat so that it fills the ear cavity but not the canal. I press my thumb in and hold in place for about five seconds, rolling it from side to side. This makes for a very secure fit. The plugs will remain securely in place. This method works for me.
