Answer:	Use it in your beard and any leftover on had rub into face. Great for skin and beard. As for how many times, depends on length and thickness of beard. I have a thick course beard about 4 inches long. It lasted me about a month but not everyday use.

Answer:	I would say it depends on how long your beard is. If you keep your beard trimmed short, then both is overkill. My beard is long enough I pull it out from under a t-shirt collar. I use both. The oil is for the skin and makes my beard easier to comb through. The balm keeps my beard in place.

Parental supervision is recommended as there are still ways in which one could be cut when using some of the attachments, but I would think it's still safer than teaching that 4 year old Grizzly Adams how to use a straight razor.
