User questions & answers
Question: | How much do these speakers weigh |
Answer: | Each speaker = About 1 to 2 lbs Sub Woofer = About 10 lbs |
Question: | Can these be connected by banana plugs? Sometimes there are little plastic caps at ends of posts but I don’t see anything removable on these |
Answer: | These smaller speakers do not have banana plug connector receptacles. The binding posts are the spring loaded type for bare speaker wire. |
Question: | Have pair of floor-standing speakers, can i use these speakers to make my system 7.1? do i need something different for the second set of rear speake |
Answer: | Yes, that would work great. Use the satellites for side surrounds and rear. I would also consider replacing the center channel with a larger speaker down the road because there is not much in the mid range and lower. And you want the lower ranges coming from the center speaker and not the subwoofer for directionality. |
Question: | How many watts can they take also what ohm are they |
Answer: | Thanks very much for your question. The power handling is rated as Satellite: 50W (200 watts peak) and Center: 75W (300 watts peak), all are 8 ohm speakers. World Wide Stereo is 38 years old and a proud, authorized Klipsch dealer. |

Question: | Whats the difference between this model and the R28 F besides being newer does it have any upgrade features etc |
Answer: | The pillow flattens once you sit on it. It's meant more of a cushion than a support pillow. To answer your question the cushion will flatten as soon as you use it but it will lose it's shape over time. I'd recommend more padding for this pillow. |

User questions & answers
Question: | do these speakers play well for loud club music? Any recommendation for subwoofer would be greatly appreciated |
Answer: | Not sure what you mean by play loud for club music, but I love these speakers as part of my home theater system. As for subs, I would recommend SVS. I researched subs for a good while before I bought dual PB3000's, and I love them. Can't imagine any other sub in this price range doing what these can do. they may be a bit expensive, but I'm a firm believer in that you get what you pay for. Also SVS's customer service is second to none. |
Question: | Can you do the rp-8000f with the rp-404c |
Answer: | yes it's all about the settings of your reciver and your room dynamics with placement of speakers. |
Question: | if i order this set will i be recieving the rp-280f or the rp-8000 as most reviews have mentioned |
Answer: | If you buy from Sound Distributors They will upgrade you to the new series. |
Question: | if i order this will i be recieving the rp-280f or the rp-8000f |

User questions & answers
Question: | Is this set (rf250) dolby atmos |
Answer: | 8 |
Question: | I am looking for detailed product specifications / manual for this speaker set. Could someone please share an online link |
Answer: | In a similar seating situation, I used Bi-Polar speakers for my rear surrounds, a couple feet above ear level. I got the Fluance XLBP Bipolar speakers and love them. |
Question: | Does this include a remote control |
Answer: | Correction. The RP-140sa are still in production. |
Question: | Would this set up sound fine playing am/fm music and of course movies? it would be hooked up to a sony str-za2100es |
Answer: | This chair is set for longer legs. I am 5'6" with longer legs and my feet are comfortable on the floor. Anyone 5'5" with short legs won't be able to reach the floor and that is with adjusting the seat height. The problem is when you sit at your computer to type, the seat height is all wrong. They really should have the chair height listed at the highest and the lowest adjustment. Mine is not working out for that reason. |
