Answer:	I don't know what "pcmvc" is, but I know I use my original charger with these. They have been great. I got them just after one Porter Cable battery died and just before my second one failed. They saved me from having to buy new tools since Porter Cable no longer does the 18V tools or batteries. I have had no issues at all charging... no I take that back. The very first time I plugged one into my charger I got a weird blinking green light, but it was only that one time and only on one of the two batteries. I have had them now for close to a year I think.

This applies to PORTER CABLE Brand Batteries only, I don't know what cells are used in the "efluky" Brand aftermarket replacement Lithium Ion batteries made to fit Porter Cable 20 Volt tools.

You would probably get more power out of your tool with a heavy-duty battery such as the 4.0Ah battery PCC685L, which is the type of battery that comes with this tool when sold in a kit.
