Interesting, I had not noticed but the small print does seem to address European Countries (UK, IE. IT etc) and the volume is measured in Metric as you mention (ml) so must be from Europe. Almost finished first can. Smells the same and seems to work the same. I have not seen the Sandalwood version in stores here in the US lately which is what led me to Amazon. Maybe they have discontinued it for US Market?
