It doesn’t look like Amazon actively engages in its own “research and development” in producing Amazon-brand products—which are typically generic versions of existing brand-name products—and this product, too, is merely a straightforwardly-generic version of Listerine. So, I don’t believe Amazon needed to conduct any research in developing this formula. Still, since Johnson & Johnson—the company that sells Listerine—is notorious for animal testing and this product is a derivative of a Johnson & Johnson product, one might say, indirectly, this product isn’t free of animal cruelty (depending on how stringent your definition of “animal cruelty” may be).

Answer:	I can't find any info on the lable as to where it's made, but after doing a search on the web my best guess is India. Amazon did some business in India with the brand name solimo in 2016. Good guestion, I just assumed it was made in the USA.
