Answer:	I have bought 2 and both were appeared real. It worked great without issues. I have never purchased personally directly from Etude house so I don't have anything to compare it to.

Answer:	I use it as a base. I curl my lashes first, use the Etude House Waterproof Dr. Mascara Fixer, then apply regular mascara. I used this with 100% humidity and workouts, my lashes don't lose the curl at all! Love this stuff! To get the eye makeup off, I use pond's makeup wipes and some baby oil, comes right off.
