Question:	Does this have a big logo like the pictured
Answer:	I don’t believe so as the electrical plug adds several inches - however, I would not recommend purchasing this product in any event. After only a couple of days, the dryer only turns on after setting the reset button. Customer service was very unhelpful in getting this resolved. As I believe that this is an electrical hazard, I threw out the dryer.

Answer:	The Cool button turns the heating element off 100%! The cool setting (slider) still has heat going to the element, just not AS much. So, BUTTON=NO heat, SLIDER=SOME HEAT

Answer:	I didn't have a scale small enough to weigh the dryer it's self. So I weighed myself on a digital bathroom scale (218.6lbs) then on the scale holding the dryer (220.7lbs). So, with that being said I'm going to put the dryer in more of the 2lb range. I also held (4) 1lbs bags of dried beans and the dryer at the same time. The dryer felt lighter. So... Not quite perfect science, but it's the best I could do.

Answer:	I had the original of this dryer for more than 10 years, almost daily use. The cord gets hung up if it rotates while it's retracting. The solution is to guide the cord with one have while depressing the retract button with the other hand. About two years ago the dryer surface started flaking off, leaving tiny bits of magenta about. I put up with it so long because the dryer was otherwise perfect. It must have known I ws researching other dryers, because it quit for good a few days ago, necessitaing that I use an inferior travel dryer. I am purchasing another today.

Answer:	I don’t wrap the cord around the base/diffuser because it’s not recommended that the cord be coiled as such, instead I place it at the edge of my vanity where the cord can inconspicuously hang down the side. But from the description, it sounded like there was cord storage on the stand... I however do not see how that would be possible? It does have small “clips” by which you can secure the cord into (similar to the end of a vacuum cord when you wrap it up, then you can secure it into place with the “clip” to keep it from unraveling.

User questions & answers

Question:	After only a month one side of the brush broke off. Is it still safe to use on my hair since the hair will be touching the space in between the brush
Answer:	Yeah I've had 3 of the brushes come off on me. Too bad because I love this product and have been using it for years. Once that top end of the brush comes loose or off the side brushes will fall off. I had to finally glue that top part down and have had no problems with the brushes coming off anymore. The only problem is my Instyler suddenly just stopped working on me! Its less than 1 year old but I don't have my receipt so well see.
Question:	Is this also used for wet hair
Answer:	Not recommended for wet hair, because the roller gets extremely hot and can damage the hair. If u must. u can use it on damp hair, (almost dry) on a low setting and will work. I have used it this way.
Question:	how do i know which sizer barrel it is
Answer:	The person that answered ur question was wrong. InStyler does NOT have a 1" barrel. There is only 1 1/4" and 3/4" (the latter, evidently being a totally separate iron). In other words, the product does not come with both barrels for interchangeable. Shame.
Question:	Is 3/4 inch barrel better or 1 1/4 inch barrel better? and what is the difference
Answer:	If your hair is short the 3/4 barrel is God and if your hair is long the 1 1/4 is better, both sizes are great irons, I own both sizes and I love them both.

Innovative Technology

With a tourmaline ceramic smoothing plate, dual rotating barrel and ionic bristles, the MAX straightens, curls and styles hair perfectly every time. The secret lies in its rotating heated polishing cylinder, tourmaline ceramic floating plate and four rows of precision-aligned bristles. The MAX has a 30 second rapid heat-up and automatic safety shut off. There are multiple heat settings for fine, medium and thick or coarse hair. Smooth and Straight

Set the MAX to rotate in the natural direction of your hair by double clicking the barrel to change rotation directions. MAX styler will perfectly smooth and polish hair for a straight and sleek style without crushing or creasing the hair. To straighten, close the MAX around a section of hair and glide slowly from root to ends.

Soft Curls and Beachy Waves

For soft curls and beachy waves, wrap a section of hair around the barrel from root to ends and close MAX around the hair section. Let the rotating barrel do all the work for you. Make sure to hold MAX in place while closed around the hair section and do not pull through the hair. Let the barrel rotate for 3 to 5 seconds before opening the barrel to release hair, letting the curl gently drop off the barrel.

Volume and Lift

To give hair an extra lift at the roots, close MAX around a section of hair at the scalp and let the barrel rotate from root to tips for 3 to 5 seconds before gliding down through to the ends of your hair. For added volume, rotate the barrel in the opposite direction from tip to root to create a backcombing effect.
